What this service does

Single-window portal provided by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for all electoral services. Citizens can register as a new voter (Form 6), request shifting of residence/correction of entries (Form 8), delete duplicate names (Form 7), link Aadhaar with EPIC (Form 6B), and download digital e-EPIC cards.

Who can use it / Eligibility

Any Indian citizen who has attained 18 years of age on the qualifying dates (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1) or is turning 18 in the ongoing year.

  • 2Proof of Age (DOB): Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Class 10 Certificate.

How it works (Step-by-Step)

    Visit the official Voters Service Portal at https://voters.eci.gov.in/.

    Sign up using your mobile number and create a password.

    For new voter registration, click 'Fill Form 6'. For address shifting/correction, click 'Fill Form 8'.

    Select your State, District, and Parliamentary/Assembly Constituency.

    Enter personal details, relative details, contact info, and upload photo and ID/address proofs.

    Submit the declaration and download the generated Application Reference Number.

    Track verification progress online. Once approved, download your digital e-EPIC card.
Offline Application Process

Collect Form 6 or Form 8 from your local Booth Level Officer (BLO), Electoral Registration Office (ERO), or Voter Facilitation Centre, fill out the form, attach self-attested documents, and submit in person.
