How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit vahan.parivahan.gov.in and enter your Vehicle Registration Number.
- 2Select required service (e.g., Transfer of Ownership, Hypothecation Termination, Duplicate RC).
- 3Authenticate using Aadhaar e-KYC of the vehicle owner.
- 4Fill in buyer details, upload Form 29/30 and insurance certificate.
- 5Pay statutory fee online, book inspection slot (if required by State RTO), and track RC status online.
Submit hard copies of signed forms at the jurisdiction RTO office if faceless service is unavailable.
