Parents or legal guardians of a girl child from her birth until she reaches the age of 10 years (maximum 2 accounts per family).

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Download Sukanya Samriddhi Account Opening Form from indiapost.gov.in or IPPB app.
- 2Fill in child and guardian details with initial deposit amount.
- 3Attach girl child's birth certificate and guardian's Aadhaar and PAN card.
- 4Submit at any Post Office or authorized commercial bank branch (SBI, PNB, Canara, etc.).
- 5Collect SSY Passbook and set up standing instruction / online deposits via IPPB mobile banking.
