How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1File an e-FIR / Lost Article Report with state police and procure a duplicate SIM from telecom provider.
- 2Visit sancharsaathi.gov.in and click 'Block Stolen/Lost Mobile'.
- 3Enter 15-digit IMEI number(s), device brand, model, and upload purchase bill.
- 4Enter police complaint number, upload FIR copy, and verify with alternate mobile OTP.
- 5Submit to generate Request ID. The IMEI is blacklisted nationally, preventing misuse even if SIM card is swapped.
Report at nearest Police Station or State Cyber Crime Helpdesk.
