Official central single-window web portal to submit Right to Information requests and first appeals online to all Central Ministries, Departments, and Constitutional bodies with online payment.

Any citizen of India seeking information from public authorities under Section 6(1) of the Right to Information Act 2005.
What you'll need (Documents Required)

- 2BPL Card / Proof of Below Poverty Line (if claiming fee exemption under RTI Rules)

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit rtionline.gov.in and click 'Submit Request'.
- 2Read guidelines, tick declaration, and select the concerned Ministry/Public Authority.
- 3Fill in personal contact details (Email and Mobile Number are mandatory).
- 4Type your information request in the text box (up to 3000 characters) and upload supporting PDF.
- 5Pay ₹10 via UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Card to receive your 14-digit RTI Registration Number.
