What this service does
Flagship urban housing mission providing central financial assistance up to ₹2.67 Lakhs through Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) and Beneficiary Led Construction (BLC) to eligible urban EWS, LIG, and MIG families.
Who can use it / Eligibility
Urban families comprising husband, wife, and unmarried children who do not own a pucca house anywhere in India with annual household income within prescribed limits (EWS < ₹3L, LIG ₹3L-₹6L, MIG ₹6L-₹18L).

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit pmay-urban.gov.in and click 'Citizen Assessment'.
- 2Select appropriate option: 'Benefit under other 3 components' or 'Slum Dwellers'.
- 3Enter Aadhaar number and verify name.
- 4Fill in family details, current address, monthly income, and bank credentials.
- 5Submit to generate Assessment ID and track municipal survey approval status.
Apply through Urban Local Body (Municipality/Municipal Corporation) housing department or nearest CSC centre.
