Central sector initiative supporting traditional artisans and craftspeople across 18 trades with PM Vishwakarma Certificate & ID Card, skill training stipend (₹500/day), ₹15,000 toolkit grant, and concessional credit up to ₹3 Lakhs at 5% interest.
Who can use it / Eligibility
Artisans/craftspeople aged 18+ working in 18 recognized traditional trades (carpenter, blacksmith, goldsmith, potter, cobbler, tailor, mason, etc.) with no existing government loan default.

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or official portal pmvishwakarma.gov.in.
- 2Perform Aadhaar biometric authentication and mobile OTP verification.
- 3Fill in artisan trade category, family details, and bank account information.
- 4Submit application to trigger 3-tier local government verification.
- 5Upon approval, download PM Vishwakarma Digital Certificate and ID card to access 5-day basic training and financial perks.
Artisans must visit any authorized CSC centre with their biometric Aadhaar to complete registration.
