PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector scheme by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Under the scheme, income support of ₹6,000 per year is provided to all landholding farmer families across the country in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months directly into their bank accounts via Aadhaar-based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

All landholding farmer families who have cultivable landholding in their names. Exclusions include institutional landholders, farmer families holding constitutional posts, serving/retired officers, professionals (doctors, engineers, lawyers, CA), and income tax payees.

   Visit the official PM-KISAN portal at https://pmkisan.gov.in/

   Under 'Farmers Corner', click 'New Farmer Registration'.

   Select 'Rural Farmer Registration' or 'Urban Farmer Registration'.

   Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, Mobile Number, and State.

   Enter the Aadhaar OTP to proceed to the main application form.

   Select District, Sub-District, Block, Village, and enter land parcel details (Khata Number, Khasra/Survey Number, Land Extent in Hectares).

   Upload scanned copy of your land Record of Rights (RoR).

   Submit the application and note down the registration number.

   Complete mandatory OTP-based e-KYC on the portal.
