What this service does

Central Sector scheme portal under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Eligible small and marginal landholding farmer families receive direct income support of ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 transferred directly to their Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts.

Who can use it / Eligibility

Small and marginal landholder farmer families with cultivable landholding registered in state land records. Exclusions apply to institutional landholders, constitutional post holders, serving/retired government employees, income tax payees, and professionals.

How it works (Step-by-Step)

    Visit the official PM-KISAN portal at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.

    Under 'Farmers Corner', click 'New Farmer Registration'.

    Select 'Rural Farmer Registration' or 'Urban Farmer Registration', enter Aadhaar Number, mobile number, and select your State.

    Enter land details including Survey/Khasra number, Khata number, Area in hectares, and Land transfer date.

    Upload self-attested land document and Aadhaar copy.

    Submit and complete OTP authentication.

    Complete mandatory e-KYC using the 'e-KYC' option on the homepage.
Offline Application Process

Farmers can apply physically by submitting self-attested land records, Aadhaar copy, and bank passbook to the local Village Agriculture Officer, Patwari, or nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
