What this service does
Official portal under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act providing rural households with legal entitlement to 100 days of guaranteed wage employment per financial year, Job Card status, and wage transfer tracking.
Who can use it / Eligibility
Any adult member of a rural household willing to do unskilled manual work at statutory state wage rates.

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Submit written or oral application to the Gram Panchayat or apply online through State rural portal / UMANG app.
- 2Provide names, ages, and Aadhaar numbers of all adult family members seeking unskilled work.
- 3Gram Panchayat conducts verification and registers the household in the MGNREGA NREGASoft database.
- 4A laminated Job Card with photo and unique registration number is issued to the household.
- 5Demand work for minimum 14 consecutive days to receive work allocation and direct bank DBT wages.
