What this service does
National sports development programme portal under the Sports Authority of India (SAI) identifying grassroots sporting talent, providing ₹5 Lakh annual financial scholarship for 8 years to selected athletes, and state-of-the-art training at Khelo India Academies.
Who can use it / Eligibility
Young athletes and school/college students demonstrating exceptional performance in national, state, or district recognized sporting tournaments across 20+ Olympic disciplines.

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit kheloindia.gov.in and click 'Athlete Registration'.
- 2Fill in personal information, sports discipline (Athletics, Boxing, Wrestling, Archery, Badminton, etc.), and achievement records.
- 3Upload sports certificates and verification proofs.
- 4Submit application to receive Khelo India Unique ID.
- 5Participate in designated Khelo India talent assessment trials and Khelo India State Centres of Excellence (KISCE) selection.
Enroll through District Sports Officer (DSO) or Sports Authority of India regional training centres.
