How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Access official government site at indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa.
- 2Click on 'Apply here for e-visa' and enter passport and travel details.
- 3Upload passport photo and scanned biographical passport page in PDF/JPEG.
- 4Pay the non-refundable e-Visa fee online using international credit/debit card or PayPal.
- 5Receive Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via email, print it, and present at 31 designated international airports in India.
For paper visas, applicants must visit designated Indian Embassy / VFS Global centers.
