What this service does
National Academic Depository (NAD) platform allowing students to create their 12-digit permanent Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID), store digitally verified degree certificates and marksheets, and transfer credits across higher educational institutions under NEP 2020.

All undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral students enrolled in Indian colleges and universities.

How it works (Step-by-Step)
- 1Visit abc.gov.in or digilocker.gov.in and click 'Login' -> 'Student'.
- 2Sign in with DigiLocker credentials or authenticate via Aadhaar OTP.
- 3Select your University / Institution name, admission year, and enter Roll Number / Registration Number.
- 4Generate your unique 12-digit ABC ID card immediately.
- 5Submit the ABC ID to your college to link all academic awards, marksheets, and degree credits digitally.
Universities also provide on-campus DigiLocker kiosks during admission seasons.
